Whitney Reid, PA-C, has been practicing family medicine in Tulsa since 2007. Professional organizations of which she is a member include the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants. Patient comments about her include:

Whitney earned her bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences from Oklahoma State University with an emphasis on pre-physician assistant studies in 2004. She received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine in December 2006.
When she’s not tending to the needs of her patients, Whitney enjoys traveling, jogging, cooking and spending time at the lake and with her family.
Unfortunately, Whitney is not currently welcoming new patients. Most insurance plans are accepted. Her office is located at Utica Park Clinic at 8136 S. Memorial in Tulsa.

Professional mannerisms PA Whitney conducts her alotted time with her patients allowing them to explain their issues, then she paraphrases their concerns back to them asking questions along the way to make sure everyone is on the page. After determining they are on the same page, she analyzes the issues and then offers different possible treatment plans, explaining the pros and cons to each one to make sure that the patient understands fully, as best they can, entertaining question along the way. And if there’s something she’s not sure about she will let you know and tell you that she will have to get back to you so she check into it you’re researching or refers to other colleagues about the situation. She normally offers more than one plan, discuss it with them and tries to allow them to make the choice which they are more comfortable with, answering questions as she goes along the way to clarify, help explain the process.
