Stephen C. Medina, MD, specializes in Gastroenterology.  He is double board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.  The professional organizations of which he is a member include the American Gastroenterological Association, Oklahoma State Medical Association, Rogers County Medical Association, American College of Physicians and Phi Chi Medical Fraternity.

Dr. Medina earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology from the University of Texas in Arlington in 1982.  He received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1986 from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.  He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California Davis in Davis, CA in 1989, and his residency in Internal Medicine in 1992 at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Little Rock.  He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center through the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in 1991.

During his personal time, Dr. Medina enjoys traveling with his wife, exotic game hunting, photography, and numerous water sports activities.

Dr. Medina welcomes new patients and most insurance plans are accepted.  His office is located at 1501 N. Florence, Suite 250 in Claremore.  Appointments can be set by calling 918-343-8513 between 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
