Mitchell Lester, MD, specializes in internal medicine and focuses on prevention of lifestyles diseases and promotes an active lifestyle to his patients.  He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  Prior to joining Utica Park Clinic, Dr. Lester enjoyed practicing locum tenens medicine and traveling to various states.  He has been licensed in 11 states practicing outpatient, traditional and hospital-based internal medicine.

Dr. Lester earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Houston, graduating magna cum laude in 1986.  He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine in 1992.  He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa in 1995.

Dr. Lester enjoys hiking with his dogs, cross country skiing and snowshoeing, photography and the informal study of natural history and philosophy.

Dr. Lester welcomes new patients and most insurance plans are accepted.  His office is located at 1501 N. Florence, Suite 200 in Claremore.  Appointments can be set by calling 918-341-1886 between 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
