Mark Birdsong, MD, is a General Surgeon at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa and Bailey Medical Center in Owasso.  He is a native Oklahoman and graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2003. He completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of Kansas in 2008.

Dr. Birdsong specializes in minimally invasive and general surgery procedures, including head and neck, endocrine, oncology, breast, colorectal, gallbladder, appendectomy, and many other types of procedures.  He also performs many minor in-office procedures.  He performs surgical procedures on patients who are five years of age or older, but will consider younger patients and discuss possibilities with their parents.

Wait times for appointments with Dr. Birdsong are currently short and he is welcoming new patients.  Most insurance plans are accepted.  His primary office is located at 10512 N. 110^th East Ave. (106^th St. N. & N. Garnett), Suite 240 in Owasso.  He also sees patients in his Tulsa office at 1809 E. 13^th St., Suite 400. Appointments can be set by calling 918-212-1200 between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, or between 8:30 am and 5 pm on Fridays.
