Laurie Flynn, MD, FACS, has been performing breast surgery since 2006.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mississippi in 1995.  She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2000. Dr. Flynn completed her general surgery internship and residency at Baptist Health System of Alabama in 2001 and 2005, respectively.  She completed her fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Department of Surgery for Breast Service in New York in 2006.

Dr. Flynn is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. 

Before joining Utica Park Clinic, she served as the Medical Director of St. John Breast Center and as a Cancer Liaison physician of St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.  Her professional memberships include those with the American Society of Breast Surgeons, American Society of Breast Disease, and the Tulsa County Medical Society.  Dr. Flynn is a candidate member of the Society of Surgical Oncology.  She is the current Secretary/Treasurer of the Tulsa Surgical Society.

Dr. Flynn has written numerous publications and given several presentations on breast cancer and breast surgery.

Dr. Flynn is the Surgical Director of the Leta M. Chapman Breast Center at the Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center.  Her temporary office is located at Utica Park Clinic-Central at 1245 S. Utica, 2^nd Floor in Tulsa.  Within a few months, she will move to her permanent location at 1809 E. 13^th St., Suite 410 in Tulsa.  Appointments can be set by calling 918-579-3840 between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
