Jim Harjo, DO, has been practicing family medicine in the Tulsa area since 2004.  He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.  His interests include sinus and allergic disease and dermatologic surgery.  Organizations of which he is a member include the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Family Practice.

Dr. Harjo’s compassionate form of patient care comes from his wide variety of experience in the following medical settings:

• Hospital emergency department
• Urgent care clinic
• Hospice
• Home health, and
• Outpatient and inpatient hospital care.

Dr. Harjo graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1997.  He earned his medical degree from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa in 2001.  He completed his internship and residency with the In His Image Family Practice Residency Program in Tulsa in 2002 and 2004, respectively.

During his personal time, Dr. Harjo enjoys golf, writing and fishing.

Dr. Harjo is currently welcoming new patients.  Most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, are accepted.  His office is located at 7600 S. Lewis in Tulsa.  Appointments can be set by calling 918-493-2229 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
