James Wingo, M.D., specializes in internal medicine and has extensive experience with pediatric patients. He is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Wingo earned his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM in 1986. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, NM in 1991. He completed his Internal Medicine and Pediatric Residencies at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Tulsa in 1995. He is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Pediatrics.
During his personal time, Dr. Wingo enjoys building family furniture pieces, swimming, playing a variety of musical instruments and spending time with his family.

Every visit with Dr. Wingo finds diagnosis or referral a great step in the healing process. He always takes time to listen to concerns, to ask pertinent questions, and to make professional referrals that help. His knowledge of medicine and his help with patients is very important. Dr. Wingo is very professional and courteous. He really is interested in caring for his patients by listening to them and explaining topics/issues/remedies to them. Sometimes he does run behind, but it is because he takes the time to listen to each of his patients, and I can appreciate that. I know he will always take the time to listen to me. Additionally, he has a great team - Roxanne, Natasha and Davelyn. They are the greatest!
