Heather Zimmerman, APRN-CNP, MSN, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing and her Family Nurse Practitioner degrees at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas.  She is board certified in Advanced Diabetes Management and is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner.  In 2003, she received a People’s Choice Award for Best Nurse Practitioner in Plainview, Texas.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two sons.
