Gregoire Barrette, MD, is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.  He is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow with The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Professional Corporation of Physicians of the Province of Quebec.  He is fluent in both French and English.

Dr. Barrette earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College classique de Rouyn in 1964.  He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from University of Ottawa in Canada in 1969.  He completed his internships at Hopital du Sacre-Coeur in Hull, Quebec in 1970 and the Canadian Armed Forces National Defense Medical Centre in Ottawa, Canada in 1973.  His obstetrics and gynecology residency was completed at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York in 1976 and the Sloane Hospital for Women in New York in 1977 where he served as Chief Resident. 

During his personal time, Dr. Barrette enjoys spending time with his family and traveling back to his home country of Canada.
