- Comprehensive evaluation and treatment planning for both newly diagnosed patients as well as patients with established diabetes.
- Meal planning
- Ongoing diabetes management based on evidence-based guidelines in consultation with the patient's primary care physician.
- Education and assistance with the use of insulin pumps.
- Clinical trials involving new and investigational medications are open to patients based on specific criteria as well as the patients desire to participate.
Whether you suffer from the disease or feel that you may be at risk, UPC's Center for Diabetes Treatment and Research can help. Our competent and specialized healthcare team is readily available to educate you in the necessary precautions you can take to help avoid the disease or provide helpful tools and information for successful diabetes management. If left uncontrolled, diabetes can cause blindness, strokes, heart attacks, kidney failure, and even death. Please contact a member of our staff at (918) 382-2551 to schedule an appointment today.
